The author/speaker’s bold teaching and speaking style has been described as “bad to the bone.” She has addressed men in all male maximum security units, young male juveniles in New York State juvenile detention facilities, women in women’s church retreats and conferences, young adults in singles conferences, and leaders and pastors in leadership training institutes.

Elaine has been ministering the gospel for almost two decades nationally, and her reputation as an opening-night conference speaker is evidenced by a very mature and seasoned style of teaching and preaching that belies her youthful appearance. Her international travels as a keynote speaker include Antigua, Caribbean; Heidelburg, West Germany; Ghana, West Africa; and Tokyo, Japan.

“Everyday I ask God to bless me so that I can be a blessing to somebody else. The individual who was my master trainer as a life coach once called me a schmuck because she was mystified that I would want to learn the skill of coaching to give more of myself away, rather than purely as a means of personal gain.  In her world, when you learn a new skill or acquire an ability, it should be for the purpose of making money.  In my world, certifying as a life and entrepreneurial coach meant acquiring another tool to better help people find their way.

The reason I live this life is to help people get set free of past pain, lingering guilt, unforgiveness, and old wounds. In my current professional role as “Liaison” of homeless children and unaccompanied youth, I was delighted to learn that the word “liaison” in Spanish, is “Defender.”  It gets me into trouble sometimes because I am typically the one in the room who is concerned about how a new policy or initiative is going to impact the people we are supposed to serve.  I don’t know…I just think that the greatest gift you can give anybody is to love them and respect them, and care about what they care about!”
